"lifetime vaccination"

« Back to Glossary Index

Some vaccinations like measles shots are good for life, chickenpox immunizations protect for 10 to 20 years, and tetanus jabs last a decade or more. For the purposes of the Census, these are all considered lifetime vaccinations. On the other hand, flu or covid shots are considered seasonal or yearly in that they tend to require regular revisions or boosters.
