Home water can be tap water provided by an external provider, usually the city, and usually directly via pipes. In some cities and in rural areas home water might be water that is delivered to a tank, either by local public authorities or by a private company. Water from a well, when considered the main source of drinking water, is considered home water. Note that not all home water is fit for drinking.
